Chief Executive Officer

Didier Michaud-Daniel was named CEO of BUREAU VERITAS the 1st of March 2012. Before taking over this position, he was President of OTIS Elevator Company, appointed in May 2008. Prior to this position, Didier Michaud-Daniel served as President of OTIS’ United Kingdom and Central Europe Area, a position he held from August 2004 until May 2008. From September 2001 through August 2004, Didier Michaud-Daniel was Managing Director, OTIS United Kingdom and Ireland, following 20 years of service with OTIS France. Didier Michaud-Daniel’s career at OTIS began in 1981 in service sales, progressing into sales, branch and field support management. In 1991, he was appointed Field Operations Director for OTIS France and, in 1992, was promoted to the position of Paris Field and Sales Operations Director. He was named Deputy General Manager, Operations in January 1998. Didier Michaud-Daniel is a graduate of the École Supérieure de Commerce with a degree in business management and is also a management graduate of INSEAD. Didier Michaud-Daniel is Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur.


Executive Vice-President, Group Transformation & Business Development

Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice-President Bureau Veritas Group Transformation & Business Development, in 2019, Eduardo Camargo has led the CIF business in Latin America, as Executive Vice-President and a member of the Executive Committee since 2006. With a career developed in Bureau Veritas over 30 years, Eduardo Camargo has experience in both the marine and industry sectors. Joining Bureau Veritas in 1986 in the Marine Design Review Division, Eduardo Camargo has then held various management roles. In 1997, he became Regional Chief Executive for Mexico & Central America Region, with responsibilities expanding successively to South Latin America in 2002 and Latin America Zone in 2003. In 2006, he joined the Group Executive Committee of Bureau Veritas. Eduardo holds a Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering degree from Rio de Janeiro University and an MBA in Finance from Rio de Janeiro Pontifical Catholic University.

Senior Vice-President Strategy and M&A

Ségolène de Rose is Senior Vice-President Group Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. She was appointed Vice-President Mergers & Acquisitions at Bureau Veritas in 2016 and took over the position of head of Strategy since January 2020. Ségolène started her career in 2004 at BNP PARIBAS, where she held various positions from Analyst to Vice-President in Mergers & Acquisitions in Paris, Sao Paulo and New York. Just before joining Bureau Veritas, she was Mergers & Acquisitions Director. Ségolène is graduated from ESCP Europe School of Management (France).


Executive Vice-President, Human Resources

Helen Bradley joined Bureau Veritas on June 1, 2018, as Executive Vice-President, in charge of Group Human Resources as well as Quality, Health & Safety and Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and External affairs. Helen Bradley has more than 25 years of experience in managing Human Resources, based in various European countries and the USA. Before joining Bureau Veritas, Helen worked for Schneider Electric for 20 years, where she first held various HR management positions, supporting both regional operations and company business units. In 2006, she was promoted to Senior Vice-President (SVP), HR and Internal Communication for the Industry business and, in 2010, expanded her responsibilities within the larger Infrastructure business. In 2013, she was appointed SVP HR, Global Operations and, in 2017, SVP HR, North America Operations. She started her career at Lloyds Bank, joining a few years later Yellow Pages Sales, a subsidiary of British Telecommunications, as Regional Personnel Officer. Helen Bradley, graduated in Accounting and Finance from Bristol Polytechnic (UK) and holds a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management.


Executive Vice-President, Finance

Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice-President Finance, in 2018, Francois Chabas has been Senior Vice-President Finance for the Europe Operating Group at Bureau Veritas since 2014. He started his career in 1999 as finance auditor at Ernst & Young. In 2003, he joined Bureau Veritas as Internal Auditor within the Corporate Finance team. From 2005 to 2008, he held several positions as finance director within the North and Central Europe Region. In 2008, he became Operational Director for the Nordic & Baltic District and was subsequently promoted as Vice-President Certification for North & Central Europe. From early 2013 on, he combined his financial and operational experience to lead the finance organization of the South Europe Region as Vice-President Finance South Europe. François Chabas graduated from HEC (France,1997) and holds a BA in History from La Sorbonne University (France, 1997).
